THIS IS NOT A GAME IN ANY SENSE OF THE WORD!

This is a pre-pre-pre-alpha collections of systems and mechanics.  All art is placeholder, most of it is from downloaded collections here on itch.

The basic mechanics of farming and training pets is in place, but almost no content exists.

This project is a learning experience for me that will hopefully someday be more of an actual game, I'd love any feedback.

Controls:

Movement - arrow keys or WASD

Confirm/Use Item/Interact - Space bar

Cancel/Run - B button

Use Tool - Y button

Cycle Between Tools - L and R buttons

Show Menu - Enter/Return

Speed Up/Slow Down Time - Left Shift Key


You can clear obstacles, till and water soil, plant and harvest crops on the farm.  You can sell crops in the bin, or use them to replenish energy and health of you and your pets.  

You get a starter pet in town and further wild pets can be encountered in the lake area, north of the farm.  

Pets can be sent to explore the lake region (new areas to explore will be opened up the more research you perform in a given region), and then can also be assigned tasks on the farm.

After staying awake too long, the player's energy will start to steadily decrease, be sure to get enough sleep by interacting with the bed in the player's house.
